The 2023 Lincoln Reagan Dinner held by the Humboldt Republican Party on September 8, 2023, was attended by guest speaker Harmeet K. Dhillon. 

Harmeet is the founder of Dhillon Law Group Inc. out of San Francisco and the Center for American Liberty. She is the former vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party, and a National Committeewoman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) for California.

During her speech, she touched on the most important civil rights issues of our time. She began the speech with a sobering reality of the state of our world today.

“This is one of the most scary times I can ever remember in my entire life …

The idea that the government can’t control your speech is under attack.

The natural right between a parent and their child is under attack.

The fact that the bathroom says women, still, next year it might not. It’s right next to a sign that says, “All gender bathroom, come in through here, all are welcome”. 

No, all are not welcome in my women’s bathroom and I’m willing to fight for that.”

The Abuse of the Government on Parental Rights 

Harmeet began to explain the current abuses of the Government when it comes to parental rights by mentioning the case at the Chino Valley School District. 

The Chino Valley School District announced their position and passed a policy stating that it is the right of parents to know what’s going on with “transgender identification” of their children in the schools. On the other hand, California Attorney General, Rob Bonta has a different position. His position is that the child has privacy rights against their own parents. 

Sure they do, when it comes to abuse. But, think about this: hundreds (if not thousands) of fellow students, teachers, and faculty are being asked to call a child by a different name. That same child wants to be able to use the other bathroom at school, and their own parents aren’t allowed to know about it?

Harmeet goes on to mention a different speech she’s given about how this is a form of Marxism. 

“It’s about the tearing down of the family unit. The family is the most basic form of government and undermining that is a step along the way to undermining our relationships we have with one another and replacing it with the state telling you what is right and what is wrong.“

When it comes down to it, a child identifying as another gender in school is something the parents have the right to know. Psychiatric care may be needed after all, and it is the parent that has the right to consent for the child, not the school. This is something which can potentially lead the child down a dangerous path and which could ultimately lead to medical mutilation. 

“The relationship between a parent and a child is sacrosanct, but the public schools and teachers unions are wedging themselves between mothers and daughters – fathers and sons and the result is disastrous.”

Harmeet goes on to explain the California Teachers Union (whose website reflects the same rhetoric as far left activists) is telling teachers it is their right to keep parents in the dark when it comes to what is going on with their child in school when it comes to sexuality. She’s been contacted numerous times by parents and grandparents whose children are secretly being transitioned in school. Last year, the California RNC encouraged many parents to run for School Board and now many school boards across California are being run by parents. 

“The Parents in the Chino Valley School District decided to get organized and they got a common sense policy passed to increase transparency and notification. If a boy starts using the girls bathroom or locker room, the school has to notify the parents. If a girl decides to use different pronouns, the parents have a right to know. So, this is what led to the lawsuit against the [Chino Valley] School District.”

Parents and Students Hurt by Secrecy Policies

Harmeet continues to validate her point by mentioning that there are many students and parents who have been hurt by these secrecy policies. Parents and students, like single parent Jessica Konen and her daughter Alicia.

Alicia was recruited by teachers to join the Equality Club at age 11. They began secretly to encourage her to transition from girl to boy. The club met during lunch so they would not have to get consent to meet after school. Turns out that the Equality Club is actually the LGBTQ club.

The teachers and faculty running this club had her using different pronouns, a different name, they even gave her permission to use the bathroom in the teacher’s lounge, and specifically told her to keep it from her mother. Months later, they called Jessica in to tell her she had to call her daughter by a different name. When Jessica – justifiably – pushed back, there was a visit by Child Protective Services (CPS) at her home. 

This all happened before the California State Legislature voted and passed a state law that a parent who does not agree with the child’s chosen gender may lose their parental rights. Harmeet, along with the Centers for American Liberty, stepped in and filed a lawsuit. Eventually, the school district agreed to pay $100,000 to the mom and the daughter.

The landmark case pitted parental rights over schools providing LGBTQ+ youth access to gender affirming services, even without parental consent or knowledge.

The district settled the lawsuit for $100,000 following allegations that Konen’s 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, was “socially transitioned” into a trans boy by Buena Vista Middle School in Spreckels, per Fox News.”

Aurora Regino and her daughter from the Chico Unified School District have also fallen victim to this same secrecy policy.  The Centers for American Liberty have taken up this case as well. 

“Aurora Regino’s daughter, A.S., was in the 5th grade when an elementary school guidance counselor decided to socially transition her from female to male without Aurora’s consent. In fact, the school never even notified Aurora that this transition was happening.

It took the school guidance counselor just minutes to determine (1) that A.S. was really a boy, and (2) that at school A.S. would have a male identity: new name, new pronouns, etc.—after A.S. confidentially expressed gender confusion to her. But it took no time at all for the Chico Unified School District to decide to socially transition A.S. without so much as a phone call to her mother, Aurora.”

Secrecy Policies Can Lead to Medical Mutilation

Tragically, life altering medical procedures are being performed on children right now in the state of California.  Kaiser Permanente in Oakland is the subject of several lawsuits for rushing children through a derelict screening process before surgically mutilating them for life. 

The Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP, in conjunction with the Center for American Liberty have taken on defending Chloe Cole who was influenced by social media and was found to be on the autism spectrum since being surgically altered by doctors at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland. 

“Her parents took her to see a doctor at Kaiser Permanente [Fresno] and a Kaiser doctor told her to go to one counseling class with a bunch of other girls in the community – this is in Fresno, CA not the big city. At that one class these girls were told that they could fix this problem by becoming boys. Just a matter of some surgery. After one group session, Chloe Cole was scheduled for surgery in Oakland. She had her breasts removed, at age 15. Before that she took puberty blockers and cross gender hormones.”

Medical professionals – psychiatrists at Kaiser hospital are even quoted by the parents of Chloe Cole as saying, “Would you rather have a live son, or a dead daughter?”

They did the same thing to Layla Jane. She was operated on by the same doctors at the same hospital and was put through the same exact process as Chloe. Other girls have committed suicided because surgery did not solve their problems. 

Harmeet went on to mention that in other countries, like Sweden, studies have been done showing that the majority of people (mostly girls) who go through this surgery as children, often regret it as adults. Unfortunately, under California state law the statute of limitations under malpractice is just one year. So, most of the time the statute is already up once the victim realizes what has happened and how they were manipulated into having life-altering and most often sterilization surgery. 

Harmeet boldly asked the Humboldt Republicans:

“Why shouldn’t there be a longer statute of limitations to sue for the mutilation of a child?” 

This is a great question! Since the old protocol – according to doctors who pioneered transition surgery in California – was that the person needed to live as the opposite gender for years, as adults, and be subject to extensive psychiatric treatment before being surgically transitioned.

As Harmeet pointed out, this is the next frontier for American civil rights. She encouraged the same activism that takes place in front of abortion clinics, to be held in front of Kaiser in Oakland where they are removing the healthy breast tissue of girls and castrating boys.
