Margorie Taylor Green Puts Forth Articles of Impeachment

Thursday, May 19th Firebrand Congresswoman, Margorie Taylor Greene, put forth three Articles of Impeachment against President Biden.  Additionally, she sponsored House Resolutions 405, 406, 410 and 411 that call for the removals of US Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Department of Homeland Security Director Alejandro Mayorkas, respectively.

This is not the first attempt to impeach Biden for Rep. Greene. 

Her first attempt was resolution 57 of the 117th Congress. The current articles revolve around Biden’s abject failure to stem the flow of illegal immigration, and the administration’s efforts to in fact facilitate the immigration crisis.

The calls for removal of Wray and Garland stem from the weaponization within the Department of Justice for political gain.  

While the announcement of these resolutions are certainly welcome news for the ideological right, they are widely expected to go unfulfilled.  The legacy media DNC propaganda machine is notably unfazed by the turn of events. 

The House GOP is suspiciously quiet regarding these impeachment efforts.  The RINOs in Congress are only too willing to allow upstarts like Greene, Gaetz, Luna and Mills pound their fists and whip up sweet, sweet donor dollars. They know full well it is a wasted effort given the tenuous majority balance in the people’s House. 

Silent about Impeachment, why?

Why, you ask?  The answer is simple.  The sideshow impeachment put out by Greene is a welcome distraction from the topic that actually wakes the uniparty up in a cold sweat.  They need a shiny object to draw the focus off the demolition of the Russia Hoax. 

The country has been transfixed by the revelations made public by John Durham.  The findings of the special prosecutor’s report (full text here) confirmed what so many of us suspected all along; That from the very earliest days of the Russia Hoax, it was known to be a complete fabrication designed to torpedo a sitting United States President.

To make matters worse, as if that were possible, the hoax, which can only be categorized as a seditious conspiracy, involved officials from the highest levels of government, the “intelligence” community, and the federal agencies we have entrusted and charged with protecting us from these kinds of crimes. 

The FBI, under the direction of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice, in the course of working to depose our Commander in Chief, abused the FISA courts, our system of juris prudence, and not only the civil and constitutional rights of President Trump, but members of his campaign, cabinet, legal teams, and family.  

The conspiracy to depose the President did not stop at the government agencies.  The media, self proclaimed stalwarts of integrity and truth, actively participated in the scheme.  For five years, beginning well before the 2016 election was decided, we heard little else from the talking heads on the idiot box. Russia Russia Russia.

Now the chickens are coming home to roost.  The operatives that advanced this nonsense are being brought into the light.  

We have only just begun to see the width and breadth of this conspiracy. We have seen just a glimpse at the depth of the swamp.  Those responsible are going to be scurrying for cover. We need to demand accountability. 

Impeachment Optimism and a Reality Check

The GOP is far too willing to let these snakes off the hook. The sad fact is, that many of them were only too happy to see President Trump leave the White House.  He was not a puppet the elites could manipulate and control unlike Biden.  So, am I glad to see a few Congressmen attempt to right the wayward ship by impeaching Biden? Absolutely. Am I even a little optimistic it will do what they intend? Not at all.  And I refuse to allow these events to distract me from the very thing these vipers fear – The truth.
