Sound of FreedomFULL REVIEW SUMMARY

Sound of Freedom is Worth Every Minute!

How can humans be so cruel? Why do we do terrible things to one another? While the ability to become a monster is not something the average adult misunderstands, on the contrary, becoming a monster seems impossible to the pure at heart. My sons often ask me “Why” whenever they hear about the incredibly bad behavior some adults exhibit. When they hear a story or watch a movie and the villain does something terrible, they often do not understand why a person could do such a thing. Their childhood purity, intact and twinkling in their beautiful eyes, shines through in these moments where they demonstrate the true goodness in their hearts.

Sound of Freedom Pulls on the Heart Strings

Holding my son Bear before he went to bed as I walked in just after watching Sound of Freedom, my face began to swell as my eyes fill with tears. What a blessing that I would make it back just in time to catch this hug before he drifted off into the wondrous dreamland he adventures in his sleep. The understanding of pain countless fathers and mothers must be feeling the same moment I held my son, understanding how lucky I am to have this opportunity and how devastating it must feel for my peer parents out there to be missing their children while I hold mine forces the tears to burst from my eyes.

My wife was shocked that I walked into the bedroom, disturbing the typical serenity of our bedtime ritual, to request a hug from Bear, our three-year-old son, when I returned from watching this movie. She was even more surprised to see me burst into tears, hugging him tight. His concern for me was clear, leaning back to look me in the eyes and ask, “Are you okay, Daddy?” To which I returned, “Yes, I just love you so much and needed a hug.”

Powerful, Gripping, and Impactful

I can not recall ever experiencing a powerful film in all of my life. While I am sure the above is not exactly a sales pitch for a movie, deep feelings are something that many avoid these days, and sometimes it is to a fault; trust me, folks, the sacrifice is worth the treasure with Sound of Freedom.

Apart from the ability of this film to wrench tears from the audience, the entire masterpiece that this film is, aside from its content, is remarkable, from incredible cinematography, impressive music, and a score that supports the imagery to an unbelievably gripping story that plays like an Ocean’s 11-style thriller, Sound of Freedom delivers.

Within moments of the opening scene, you are already in full suspension of disbelief as they waste no time getting to the story’s point. The movie follows two children abducted into child sex slavery after their father is duped into leaving his children at what he is sold as an opportunity for his kids to make money in the film industry. This a rouse, the father discovers when he comes to retrieve his kids and discovers an empty room only a few hours later.

Tim Hubbard is a HERO

Tim Hubbard, a Homeland Security officer who dedicated his life to ending child sex trafficking, went private with Operation Underground Railroad with the backing of Glen Beck and is the primary hero and center figure in Sound of Freedom. His character is starred by Jim Caviezel, who is famous for playing the title role in Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ.” Wearing a trim dark beard and coppery blond hair, Caviezel plays Ballard as a G.I. Joe meets Jason Borne driven by the passion of his fatherhood to avenge countless victims of child sex trafficking.

As the movie progresses, we witness Tim Hubbard’s relentless pursuit of justice, diving deep into the dark underbelly of child sex trafficking. Jim Caviezel’s portrayal of Hubbard is nothing short of exceptional. He brings a raw intensity and unwavering determination to the character, making every moment on screen riveting and emotionally charged. Caviezel’s performance is a testament to his talent and dedication as an actor, as he embodies the anguish and resolve of a man on a mission to rescue innocent lives.

The film’s cinematography is a visual feast, capturing both the grim reality of the underground world and the glimmers of hope that emerge amidst the darkness. The camera work is masterfully executed, capturing each scene’s urgency and tension while allowing for moments of reflection and introspection. The use of lighting and shadows adds to the atmospheric quality of the film, immersing the audience in the harrowing journey of the characters.

Remarkable Music and Score

The musical score of Sound of Freedom is hauntingly beautiful, heightening the emotional impact of every scene. The music is a powerful narrative tool, enhancing the tension, despair, and, ultimately, the triumph that unfolds on screen. The combination of well-chosen tracks and original compositions creates an atmospheric soundscape that further immerses the audience in the story.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Sound of Freedom is its ability to balance the heart-wrenching subject matter with moments of levity and camaraderie. The film weaves in elements of an Oceans 11-style thriller as Tim Hubbard assembles a team of dedicated individuals to take down the powerful criminal network. The team members’ camaraderie and banter bring much-needed respite from the intense and emotionally draining narrative.

Operation Underground Railroad – Glen Beck

Furthermore, Sound of Freedom sheds light on the heroic efforts of real-life organizations, such as Operation Underground Railroad, in the fight against child sex trafficking. The film exposes the horrifying reality of this global issue and emphasizes the importance of raising awareness and taking action. It serves as a call to action for viewers to join the fight and make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.

In conclusion, Sound of Freedom is an extraordinary film that leaves a lasting impact. It delves into the depths of human cruelty and injustice while celebrating the indomitable spirit of those who fight for justice and freedom. Jim Caviezel’s powerful performance, stunning cinematography, and compelling storyline create an immersive cinematic experience that will resonate with audiences long after the credits roll.

This film is a testament to the power of storytelling and the urgent need to address the issues it raises. Sound of Freedom is not just a movie; it is a catalyst for change, inspiring viewers to confront the darkness and work towards a better, more compassionate world.
