Wilson Finishes Comment
Lost Coast Outpost (LocoOpo) updated the article they had on Charles Wilson’s free speech being violated with a new statement from The County of Humboldt. The statement confirmed that they did cut Wilson’s comment due to “comments County Administrative Officer Elisha Hayes interpreted as a violent threat”. This is to say that – after Wilson stated in his experience after joining the military as a young adult, he was instructed to kill people the Government did not like.

New Statement
The county’s new statement to LocoOpo regarding Hayes’s imagination:
“Again, I will not repeat his specific comments, but your story yesterday made the same connection we made to potential violence. And judging by the reaction and clear change in peoples’ behavior in the crowd when the comments turned to shooting people, it appeared that others in the chamber made that connection as well. I will also say that the term “hate speech” was used yesterday to reference the statements that were perceived to potentially elicit a violent response towards others, and particularly towards vulnerable populations.”
Hayes assumed that since Wilson was previously talking about Women’s right to “not have a penis in the shower,” that the military violence comment would tie back to that. But would it? Was Wilson guilty of this hate pre-crime Hayes was imagining?
Is that how freedom of speech works? Getting judged for things people imagine you are going to say?
Outrageous ?
In the initial article by LocoOpo the claimed that:
“A public commenter made some outrageous and bigoted comments during Tuesday’s meeting of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors”
Is it outrageous or bigoted to say some women don’t want men in the shower room with them? It is a trend amongst prisoners that has lead to multiple rape scenarios unfolding (as highlighted in the article referenced below) of men suddenly identifying as women in order to be transferred to women’s prisons.

According to the Washington Free Beacon Krystal Gonzalez is one of four female inmates suing to overturn the law, testified that:
She received no recourse after one of the “transgender” prisoners sexually assaulted her. When she reported the abuse, guards would not even acknowledge that a man had committed the act, referring to him instead as a “transgender woman with a penis.”
“This worsens my distress because I do not believe they can really evaluate my grievance if they are pretending that women can have penises,” Gonzalez said. “This man violated me, and when the prison tries to tell me it was a woman, I feel violated again.”
Wilson Finishes Comment
We tracked Wilson down and let him finish his public comment without interference (video below). As it turns out, he was trying to make an entirely different point than Hayes was stretching to imagine. The way Wilson explained it was that the Government instructed him to kill people, something he did not like doing.
Also, that legislation pushed by the same government allows men to expose themselves in women’s restrooms, something many women do not like. Additionally, that the same Government was pushing the covid vaccines on people around the country, many that did not like the unusual social pressure put in place to encourage such actions.
So while Hayes imagined Wilson’s comment and train of thought would lead back to violence against the LGBT community … In reality, he was only trying to make a point about Government actions putting pressure on people to do things that they do not want to do. Is that hate speech? Will The county of Humboldt issue an apology after hearing this? Personally, I don’t think so and I won’t hold my breath. But maybe your lung capacity exceeds mine.
